Susan is an Altadena attorney specializing in living trusts and general estate planning.

Susan was born and raised in Pasadena, California. In 1999, she graduated from Wellesley College with honors in Political Science and Economics. During her junior year of undergraduate studies, she participated in a college exchange program and attended Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. In 2002, she graduated from U.C. Berkeley’s Berkeley Law School, consistently ranked as one of the country’s top 15 law schools.

Susan was formerly an attorney with the Los Angeles office of a top-tier international law firm. She brings the training and experience of a large law firm, and counsels her clients with the efficiency, responsiveness, and personal attention of a small practice.

Susan resides in Altadena, California, with her spouse, their two children, and their dog and two birds. Susan enjoys traveling, playing soccer, golfing, snowboarding, camping, and completing home improvement projects. Susan also finds great enjoyment in coaching youth soccer and volunteering as a Board Member for AYSO Region 13.

Our practice focuses on foundational estate planning including living trusts, wills, health care directives, incapacity planning, child protection planning, and probate and trust administration.

We understand that estate planning can often feel daunting, so we take the time to get to know our clients and discuss matters in plain English. Though it should go without saying, we also listen to our clients. This enables us to help identify potential problems that could arise. We then design a plan that meets each unique client's specific needs.

There is often a mistaken belief that estate plan documents are "plug and chug." Plug in a name and some basic information, and then chug out the same document for each person. This approach may sometimes cost less to create, but unfortunately, such cookie-cutter plans are often the ones that end up in litigation.
