About Susan

Susan Y. Lee was born and raised in Pasadena, California. In 1999, she graduated from Wellesley College with honors in Political Science and Economics. During her junior year of undergraduate studies, she attended Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. In 2002, she graduated from U.C. Berkeley’s Boalt Hall School of Law, currently ranked as one of the country’s top ten law schools. 

Susan was formerly an attorney with the Los Angeles office of a top-tier international law firm. She brings the training and experience of a large law firm, and counsels her clients with the efficiency, responsiveness, and personal attention of a small practice.

From 2005 through 2011, Susan was selected as a “Rising Star,” an honor extended annually to only 2.5% of the “best up-and-coming attorneys in the state” age 40 years and under. The Southern California Rising Stars list appears annually in Los Angeles magazine and Southern California Super Lawyers magazine.

Susan resides in Altadena with her husband, Adam, their toddler, Cooper, and their two furry children, Roobear and Beans.

Susan is admitted to practice law in California and is admitted to appear before the Northern, Eastern, Central, and Southern District Courts of California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
